HTC Announces Desire 820, A Mid-Ranger With 64-Bit Support

HTC at IFA 2014 in Berlin announced a new Desire smartphone sporting 64-bit architecture integrated into it. This addition to the Desire family is named as “Desire 820”, the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 powered mid-ranger.
HTC Desire 820 features 5.5-inch display of 720p, along with a 13MP rear-facing camera and 8MP front-camera. This 64-bit smartphone, is packed with 2600mAh battery and runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat. But, HTC promises us to bring Android L update for Desire 820, which will allow the device to maximize the Qualcomm Snapdragon’s 64-bit capabilities.
However, there’s a 2GB of RAM attached, linear to 16GB of internal storage. HTC Desire 820 will hit the market this September.
