Samsung Gear VR (Virtual Reality) Debuts At IFA 2014

At IFA 2014 in Berlin, Samsung uncovered the covered Samsung Gear VR (Virtual Reality). Explaining the Gear VR as an exclusive accessory for Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Its a new step towards making virtual reality a step closer. Samsung gear VR uses Oculus Rift’s hardware and occupied with an accelerometer, gyro and compass sensors. The Gear VR has a back key, a touch pad forward and backward keys. Currently, The Gear VR only work with a dedicated VR player in Note 4 nothing else. It provides 360-degree rotation view. From the initial preview, the technology inside Gear VR looks great, but Note 4 screen just couldn’t provide a classic HD view with Gear VR as just by looking from few centimeters away pixilation is clearly spotted as the QHD resolution is halved for the 3D conversion.

The Gear VR is made up of plastic and there is form provided inside the body and around the corners to provide some luxury. However, Samsung didn’t hint anything about its price tag or availability, except that it’s shipping this year.

Last words, Samsung Gear VR is really an innovation by samsung. And its a milestone toward making virtual reality more accessible.
