Sony has finally unveiled it’s latest smartphone devices, Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact at IFA 2014 in Berlin. These new masterpieces from Sony are noted to be the best of their kind as they are packed with many new and tweaked stuffs, including the cool Playstation 4 remote play feature. The Xperia Z3 is a step-up from the Xperia Z3 Compact, as the name suggests, the Xperia Z3 is much like a small or mini version of the mighty Xperia Z3.
The Xperia Z3:
The Xperia Z3 features a 5.2-inch display (1080p) with a 20.7MP camera (shoots up to ISO 12800), supporting 4K recording. The phone is integrated with a 3100mAh battery, which boosts the Z3 for two days continuously on full charge. And, the most amazing thing is, it’s support for Playstation 4. The device follows the same ‘OmniBalance’ design language of Sony, as the previous version of Xperia but is indeed tweaked such as curved edges.
Powered by 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, Sony’s latest flagship comes with a 3GB RAM and 16GB to 32GB of internal storage, along with a microSB card support. This waterproof phone (IP65 and IP68) runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Breaking about it’s Playstation 4 remote play feature, now the Playstation owners can now play their games over a Wi-Fi network and a separate peripheral is required for this, and this amazing feature is supposed to hit the market this November.
Sony Xperia Z3 will be available in silver-green, white, copper and black color variants. However, We’ve not heard any thing about its pricing and availability, expect for the fact that, the device will launch this fall.
The Xperia Z3 Compact:
Alongside the Xperia Z3, Sony also introduced Xperia Z3 Compact, which is especially made for those who want more in less. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact comes with a 4.6-inch display (720p) and the rest of its pillars are the same as Xperia Z3.
The Xperia Z3 Compact doesn’t loose the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, LTE support and the mighty 20.7MP camera, after all, It’s a Sony product. And the best part is, It also supports the Playstation 4 remote play feature as its big brother does.
