YouTube Testing Its New “Fan Funding” Feature, Introduces Direct Donations

Google’s video base, YouTube is testing a new feature which allows you to donate to your favorite channel. And, It’s being called ‘Fan Funding’. YouTube’s fan funding feature is a new payment service which actually benefits the YouTube channel owners through the donations by their subscribers or viewers.

YouTube Fan Funding feature is currently being tested exclusively in four countries marking the US, Australia, Japan, and Mexico. YouTube channels from these regions can notice a pop-up with ‘Support’ button. And, allows to make donations starting from $1 and plus. It’s not all, Google’s cutting off a small fee of $0.21 in the US for each donation from the donated amount.
