Introducing Microsoft Band, A Cloud-Based Wearable Powered By Microsoft Health

Microsoft has announced a new fitness wearable device powered by its Health tracking application, Microsoft Band. The wearable is a cloud-based smart band that simply fits on your wrist.
Microsoft Band measures users’ heart beat, steps taken, calorie burned, sun exposure, stress level and sleep quality, all thanks to Microsoft Health. All of the users’ health insights are fetched into the Band’s official smartphone app on iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
The smart wearable does much more than just tracking your fitness level, the Band is packed with almost all those features which a smart watch offers, such as GPS navigation, email and calendar event preview and voice commands for Cortana. Plus, Microsoft Band lasts for 48 hours on battery when fully charged.
The wearable band costs around $199 and is now available for purchase at Microsoft Retail Stores, but if you’re confident enough to match your size with this wearable virtually then, head over to Microsoft Band’s official page for online order.
