WEST, A Mentorship Program For Women In Technology By Facebook, Pinterest & Box

The social network neighbors, Facebook, Pinterest, and Box have partnered with each other for a new initiative rendering mentorship for women pursuing their career in tech-industry.

The initiative is titled as ‘Women Entering and Staying in Tech’, also known as WEST. Females enrolled at partner firms can easily join the program starting 2015. The mentorship period of mentors and mentees will last for a year where they can interact in-person as well as in groups.

Currently, WEST is not accepting any applications, however, interested candidates can sign-up for future updates. The service is only available in Bay area at the moment but promises to shade its light in other lands soon.
