Archos Announces ’80 Cesium’ Windows 8.1 Tablet

France-based gadget manufacturer, Archos, has announced an affordable and ‘not so high-end’ tablet – 80 Cesium. Archos 80 Cesium is a Windows 8.1 slate that comes in the list of ‘budget devices.’

The 80 Cesium processes on a quad-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3735G processor and pairs with a 1GB of RAM. The slate sports an 8-inch IPS display which gives a resolution of 800×1280 pixels. Linear to that, the 80 Cesium includes two optical apertures; a 2MP rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera.

Archos 80 Cesium packs a 4000mAh battery pack along with a 16GB of onboard storage and provides support for microSD card too, which means you can easily expand your storage room up to 128GB.

Archos didn’t mention anything on the pricing and availability of the 80 Cesium, however, it is highly expected to cost you around $100 or $150.
