OnePlus’ Android Lollipop ‘Alpha’ Build Now Available For Installation

OnePlus has seeded the first official build of Android Lollipop 5.0 to its One smartphone users, with an ‘alpha’ label attached to it, the non-cyanogen ROM is now available for download & installation through OnePlus’ forum.
The ROM stumbles upon stock-Android firmware with no additional changes in account, and being an alpha rollout, the update is flawed with several bugs like fluctuating Wi-Fi, camera glitches, stability issues and more.
As you’d expect, OnePlus doesn’t favor the installation of custom ROMs, including this alpha release, so any issues caused while flashing this alpha Lollipop ROM is not covered by the company for the sake of ‘warranty’. Thus, proceed at your own risk.
