WhatsApp Web Client Is Finally Here!
WhatsApp messenger is now available for use on desktop right from your Chrome web browser. The web client of WhatsApp, entitled WhatsApp Web, is currently viable for Android, Blackberry, Symbian and Windows Phone users.
In order to use WhatsApp Web, you’ll have to point your Chrome web browser to web.whatsapp.com and scan the prompted QR code through your mobile device’s camera. After that, you’re good to go with WhatsApp Web. It’s actually a mirror representation of WhatsApp messenger on your mobile, so as long as your mobile is connected to the internet, you can enjoy using the web interface of WhatsApp.
It should be noted that WhatsApp Web requires Google Chrome on your desktop and the latest WhatsApp messenger app installed on your phone. Regarding the iOS version of WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp founder Jan Koum says, “We will not be able to provide web client to our iOS users due to Apple platform limitations.” Sorry iOS folks, at least for now.
