Facebook Launches Internet.org App In India

Facebook has launched the Internet.org app in India, in partnership with Reliance Communications, to provide internet access to millions of people through its free services. And fortunately, the list includes over three dozen of services ranging from news, health, travel, local jobs, sports, communication, and local government information. Good for Indian population!

The internet.org app is currently viable in an initial six states: Tamil Nadu, Mahararashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala and Telangana, exclusively for people on Reliance network.

Reliance customers can access the app at www.internet.org from any mobile device, linear to Opera Mini and UC Browser on Android.
