LG Announces Four New Lollipop Based Mid-Range SmartPhones

LG today announced four new smartphones that will be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona next month (or next week). The four mid-rangers run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, with a neat intersection of design and performance. And they are: LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy.

The LG Magna is a 5-inch giant screen phone featuring 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras. Powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB of RAM, the LG Magna ships with 8GB of onboard storage and 2,540mAh of battery pack. The rest of the devices follow the same specs grid, but differ in screen size from 4-inch to 5-inch. Plus, the devices support both 3G and 4G LTE.

The next one is a 4.7-inch affair – the LG Spirit – whereas the LG Leon and Joy cut off the screen size down to 4.5-inch and 4-inch respectively. Full specs available on here.

“LG’s new mid-range collection continues our legacy of offering amazing smartphones at reasonable prices,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

There’s no word on pricing or availability at the moment, however, we can expect more details next week at MWC 2015. Till then, Stay tuned.
