Skype Qik Now Allows You To Share Videos Outside App

Published

on

Microsoft’s video messaging app, Skype Qik, has received an update that enables users to share videos to other apps or social networks directly from the messenger without employing the device’s camera roll.

Taking advantage of the host device’s inbuilt share screen, Qik now features a new share menu that lists all the available services on the device so users can easily share videos from the app. Official statement from Qik:

Select one of your videos and tap on the ^ menu and now you’ll see a share menu. This uses your phone’s built in share option to send your video to whatever apps and accounts are registered for sharing video on your phone. You aren’t limited to what we choose for you: you’re free to share to any video platform YOU choose on your phone.

As of now, the update is only available to iOS and Android users. Download links are embedded below. Happy Updating!
