Microsoft Plans Windows 10 Launch This Summer

Published

on

Microsoft Windows 10 will arrive in 190 countries this summer with support for 111 languages. It’s a free upgrade for existing Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users. And sadly, there’s no exact date mentioned.

As announced today, Windows 10 brings a new feature called Windows Hello, which is a biometric identity authentication system that uses your face, fingerprint or iris to unlock the device. And, sources reveal that Internet Explorer will not be a major part of the OS.

Microsoft says a custom version of Windows 10 will be available for Internet of Things devices, ranging from ATMs to ultrasound machines, for free at launch.
