Slack Finally Arrives On Windows With A Standalone App

Switching between tabs while using Slack inside the web browser on Windows is definitely not a convenient way of multitasking. With that in mind, Slack has released a native client for its team messaging service on Windows.
Combining all the browser features and steady improvements, Slack for Windows comes in a standalone app where you don’t have to open up a new tab or window to switch between team communication.
The app runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 (Technical Preview), and also includes support for Windows Notification. Whenever a notification is fetched, Slack lights up the Task Bar ensuring that you don’t miss any important update from your team. Download Slack for Windows from the link below. Keep Slacking!
