LG has shown-off its newest Android flavor in a video today. Dubbed as LG UX 4.0, the software will appear on the upcoming LG smartphones, starting with the LG G4 this month.
LG UX 4.0 offers a simple and personalized user experience, introducing quite a lot of new features, like Quick Shot, Smart Board, Smart Alerts, and more, on board. While the design theory remains similar to the G3’s, the company aims at providing more smart features to the users.
Smart Board, a feature that caters information from various apps on user’s phone such as calendar, music and health, and curates them all into a single widget. There’s also Smart Alert that learns user’s lifestyle and provides a typical schedule for the day. For instance, if one likes running, then LG UX 4.0 can push notifications for it if the weather’s suitable.
Similarly, Quick Shot lets users capture photos with the help of volume down button on the back of the phone, even if the phone’s locked. Plus, another feature called Expert Camera Mode can create photo albums on the basis of time and location of the photos.
We’ve embedded the LG UX 4.0 video video below, watch out the new smart features in action.
