Xiaomi announces Redmi 2 Enhanced in Singapore

Xiaomi has announced a new variant of its low-end smartphone Redmi 2 in Singapore – Redmi 2 Enhanced – which comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB on board storage. It’s exactly double that of the original model. Everything else remains the same.

The Redmi 2 Enhanced is priced at $179 (SGD), and will be available at the official Mi Store on July 14. On the other hand, the original Redmi 2 has seen a $20 (SGD) drop in price, and is now available at $149 (SGD) in Singapore.
