LG will launch the G Pad II 10.1 at IFA 2015

LG silently launched the G Pad II 8.0 earlier this month in its home market, and today the company announced the 10.1-inch variant of the tablet. The Korean manufacturer will unveil the G Pad II 10.1 at IFA in Berlin next month, alongside pricing and availability details.

The 10.1-inch model of the LG G Pad II houses a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and a 7,400mAh battery kit. With a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera, the G Pad II 10.1 offers a 16GB of internal storage with microSD support.

“The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers’ feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption.” said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company. “Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts.”

The device runs Android 5.1.1 out of the box. Also, it’s pre-loaded with Microsoft Office for Android Tablet, offering 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.

Following its official launch next month, the LG G Pad II 10.1 will be available in WiFi and LTE variants in Asia, North America and Europe.
