Meizu has announced a new smartphone entitled Pro 5, which packs Samsung’s Exynos processor inside the box. The company made the handset official during an event on Wednesday in Beijing.
The Meizu Pro 5 features a 5.7-inch Full-HD AMOLED display, being offered in two configurations: 3GB RAM with 32GB Flash and 4GB RAM with 64GB Flash. There’s also a fingerprint sensor, and support for USB Type-C.
As mentioned above, the handset makes use of 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa-core processor, and is backed by a 3,080mAh battery. Inside the camera foil, the Pro 5 offers a 21.16-megapixel rear shooter (Sony IMX 230) with f/2.2 and dual-tone flash. While the front shooter sets at 5-megapixel.
The dual-SIM 4G-compatible handset will be available in gray, silver-white, silver-black and rose-gold color options in China. Pricing starts at 2,799 Yuan ($440) for the 3GB RAM/32GB Flash variant and 3,099 Yuan ($485) for the 4GB RAM/64GB Flash.
