Facebook has launched TechPrep, a resource hub to help people learn more about computer science and programming and the opportunities they offer. The website is especially designed for people who lack exposure to technology.

TechPrep brings together hundreds of resources in a curated hub, sort by your age, skill and interest. The resource materials include games, books, in-person opportunities and community events.

“By 2020 there will be 1 million programming jobs left unfulfilled,” Facebook says on the TechPrep website.

“Jobs in programming and other computer occupations pay very well, and are increasing at twice the national average job growth rate according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.”

With TechPrep, Facebook aims to expose the tech industry and career opportunities to a diverse world. TechPrep is available in English and Spanish at the moment.
