Meet Surface Book, Microsoft’s Ultimate Laptop

Surface Book is Microsoft’s first laptop and it’s the ‘world’s fastest 13-inch laptop’ to date. Yes, Microsoft’s latest announcements include a laptop too.

The Surface Book comes from the team behind Surface tablet and Xbox. The 13-inch device sports a magnesium housing and detachable Keyboard. The keyboard has ‘best in class keys,’ touted the company during launch.

Hardware-wise, the Surface laptop houses Intel’s Skylake processor with NVIDIA graphics on board. And it’ll never die before 12 hours of combined usage.

The device is compatible to Surface Dock as well, and the hinge, which the company calls a ‘muscle wire,’ unrolls and extends as you open the display. It actually seperates the keyboard and display. 
Microsoft Surface Book will retail for $1499 starting October 26. Pre-orders are open now.
