Microsoft officials the new Band fitness tracker

Microsoft has announced the new Band activity tracker with a curved display (Gorilla Glass 3) and improved Cortana integration. 

The wearable now comes with a handful of new sensors, including a barometer which helps you measure real-time elevation changes. That said, an optical heart rate sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, UV sensor, skin light sensor, galvanic skin response sensor, and a gyrometer in added inside. 

The new Microsoft Band will head for retail on October 30 for $249, and pre-orders begin starting today.
