ZERODIUM’s million-dollar iOS 9 bug bounty has a winner now. The company tweeted that it has a winning team who made a remote browser-based untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.1 and 9.2 Beta.
Our iOS #0day bounty has expired & we have one winning team who made a remote browser-based iOS 9.1/9.2b #jailbreak (untethered). Congrats!
ZERODIUM hasn’t disclosed the name of the winning team yet. But that doesn’t guarantee a public jailbreak for iOS 9.1 anytime soon. After all, the company didn’t pay out one million dollars ($1,000,000) to keep it up for free.
