Samsung’s $99 Gear VR now available to pre-order

Samsung announced the consumer edition of its Gear VR headset back in September, and now the company has made the headset available to pre-order. Yes, you can now own the $99 Gear VR.

Powered by Oculus, the Gear VR headset requires a Samsung phone for the display. The list of supported devices include the Note 5, S6, S6 Edge and the S6 Edge+. You aren’t in luck if you don’t own any of these phones.

Yet importantly, the headset is available only in the US for now.
