Xiaomi unveils the Mi Band 1S with heart-rate tracking

Xiaomi has unveiled the sequel to the original Mi Band – the Mi Band 1S – bringing a new heart-rate monitoring feature. And the pricing for the fitness wearable is just $15.

The Mi Band 1S can track your heart-rate, sleep quality, step count, and calorie burned. With Xiaomi’s new band on wrist, you can also get vibration alerts for your notifications, unlock your Xiaomi phone, and can go up to 3 feet under water for 30 minutes (IP67 certified).

The Mi Band 1S works with iOS and Android. The fitness tracker will be available for purchase starting November 11.

On the other bit, Xiaomi has lowered the price of the original Mi Band, thanks to its successor. For those who don’t want a heart-rate tracker, the original band is still a good deal at $11.
