LG Zero SmartPhone Launches This Week

LG has announced the mid-range LG Zero with an all-metal industrial design principle. The phone will offer an “attractive price,” notes the company, when it launches in Taiwan this week.

Specs-wise, the 5-inch HD LG Zero sports a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 2,050mAh battery, and an expandable storage of 16GB on board.

“At LG, we do not believe in limiting our best technology to just our flagship devices,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “The LG Zero exhibits innovation not only in its design but in its ability to offer premium features at a competitive price point.”

LG Zero Camera

The camera components in the LG Zero inherits the G-series’ spirit of photography, offering features such as Gesture Shot, Gesture View, and Gesture Interval Shot. That said, the rear shooter mounts 13-megapixel where as the front unit locks at 8-megapixel.

The handset will be available in Silver and Gold finishes, and will launch in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, following the launch in Taiwan this week. Exact pricing and availability are yet to come.
