Huawei announces MediaPad M2 10 tablet with Harman/Kardon audio

Huawei at CES 2016 announced the MediaPad M2 10 Android 5.1 Lollipop-based tablet with a 7.35mm aluminum alloy, full-metal body. The stylus-friendly tablet comes with Huawei’s Active Stylus, which has a 2048-level of pressure sensitivity. The company has partnered with audio brand Harman/Kardon for stunning audio experience.
Under the hood, the 10-inch FHD Huawei MediaPad M2 10 sports a 2GHz Kirin 930 oct-core processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/64GB of storage. The back camera mounts 13-megapixel with auto-focus, while the front unit sets at 5-megapixel. There’s also a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication beneath the screen. All powered by a 6,660mAh battery kit.
The 2GB RAM/16GB ROM variant of Huawei MediaPad M2 10 will be available in silver color, while the 3GB RAM/64GB ROM will be sold in gold color with the company’s Active Stylus. The tablet comes in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + LTE models. Pricing for the standard model (2GB RAM/16GB ROM) and premium model (3GB RAM/ 64GB ROM) start at $349 and $419 respectively. The tablet is expected to arrive in the US in the first quarter of 2016.
