Oculus Rift will be available to pre-order on January 6th

Oculus today announced that it will start accepting pre-orders for the Rift virtual reality headset on January 6th at 8PM PT. You will be able to pre-order Oculus Rift through Oculus.com.

Pricing and availability information are yet to emerge; the company promised to reveal more when the pre-orders go live on Wednesday.

In addition, Oculus founder Palmer Luckey will be answering more questions on Wednesday at 6PM PT during a Reddit AMA.
