Samsung was little shy to announce its newest addition to the Chromebook family – the Chromebook 3. The company didn’t mention the device during its CES Press Conference, but quietly pushed it after the keynote.
Samsung’s Chromebook 3 measures 0.7 inches in thickness, with an 11.6-inch screen at 1,366 x 768 resolution. The Intel Celeron-based notebook comes with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM including 16GB of on-board storage. And it’ll give you all the grip you need, thanks to the reinforced metal body.
More interestingly, Samsung touts the Chromebook 3 capable of rendering up to 11 hours of battery juice, which is three hours more than what Apple’s 11-inch MacBook Air offers in t\erms of battery.
The company didn’t disclose pricing and retail availability; however, it is said to launch sometime early 2016.
