Apple’s new TV app offers a unified experience for discovering TV shows and movies from an array of apps on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. The TV app brings all your TV shows as well as movies in one place to access from — and it’s powered by Siri, too.

The new Siri feature on Apple TV lets you tune in directly to live news and sporting events across your installed video apps. You can now explore Apple’s curated collection of trending shows and movies using your voice. Moreover, the videos stay in sync across multiple Apple devices so you can continue from where you had left off irrespective of the device.

“Using apps on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad has become the primary way for so many of us to watch television,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. “The TV app shows you what to watch next and easily discover TV shows and movies from many apps in a single place.

The new TV app will be available for Apple TV, iPhone and iPad later this month for free.
