Google Home ships next month for $129

Amazon Echo’s rival, Google Home is now available to pre-order, with retail availability starting on November 4.
Google Home comes with Google Assistant built-in, bringing Knowledge Graph into play. You can control Home fully with your voice, though it has a touch-capacitive surface on the top that allows you to adjust volume and music playback. The top fraction is white, while the base is removable and comes in a variety of colors from Google.
Home can look up the entire internet for you, stream your music, provide translations. It also has a new feature called ‘My Day,’ which is essentially a daily briefing based on your Google Now cards.
Google Home supports a number of IoT devices and apps, including Nest, SmartThings, IFTTT, and my favorite Philips Hue. It’s also Google Cast compatible, allowing you to control your Chromecast enabled TV as well as Chromecast Audio.
Google Home will be available to purchase from the Google Store, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target for a price point of $129 when it launches next month.
