After showing off the pre-production unit of its upcoming ‘Mercury’ handset to select journalists at CES earlier this month, Blackberry has now teased the same phone to be officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress next month, where the company is willing to reveal all the details about the handset.

In a tweet coming out from BlackBerry’s official twitter handle, the TCL-backed firm has mentioned February 26, a day prior MWC starts, to look for BlackBerry Mobile.

What seems to be confirmed as of now about the new BlackBerry mobile (better known as ‘Mercury’) is that it will have BlackBerry’s hardware keyboard, with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the spacebar. That said, it will continue to build up on USB Type-C standard, not unlike the DTEK series.
