Apple Pay charitable donations now live in the United Kingdom

Apple Pay now comes with support for donations in the United Kingdom, following the US launch of the feature late last year, for 22 of Britain’s largest charities, including Comic Relief, Cancer Research UK, and the Disasters Emergency Committee. The feature is now live in the UK, with Gift Aid support.
Apple’s contactless payment system makes it quick, easy, and secure to contribute using the stored debit or credit card. Apple Pay works with iPhone 6 devices and later; just use the Touch ID or enter a passcode, and you’re done!
Charity websites that integrate Apple Pay as a medium for donations include ‘Donate with Apple Pay’ badges, making donations as simple as finding the badge and touching the fingerprint sensor.
Apple has addressed ActionAid UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Barnardo’s, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Comic Relief, Concern Worldwide (UK), DEC, Marie Curie, Oxfam, (RED), The Royal British Legion, RNIB, RNLI, RSPB, RSPCA, Scope, Sightsavers, Unicef UK, VSO, WaterAid, and WWF-UK, as initial launch partners. The participating list is supposed to grow over time.
