Pixelmator team teases new Mac app coming soon

Pixelmator team today teased “the most innovative, beautiful and powerful thing” it has been working on. Pixelmator’s upcoming project, which took the legendary team five years in development, is also the “most Mac thing” from the European company.

Saulius Dailide, Head of the Pixelmator Team, writes:

It turned out to be the coolest thing that we or anyone else has done in years, and, oh boy, I wish I could unveil everything just now, but I can’t. Well, I could, but I don’t wan’t to. Just yet. I am very excited about it and I really want every single thing to come out perfectly. So no details for now. But be sure that the entire team is currently working hard to bring you a lot more about what we’re doing — ASAP.

From the teaser, we learn that the app icon between the curtains references the Photos app iconography and a paintbrush with it. Not much is known just yet, but stay tuned as we reach closer to the unveil of this new Mac thing.
