New App Store for iOS

Apple has completely and beautifully redesigned the App Store on iOS, making discovering apps and games easier than ever before. The all-new App Store, unveiled during WWDC 2017 Keynote, has a design language that resembles that of current iOS Music app. Bold, Elegant and Minimalistic.

The new iOS App Store has tabs dedicated to Apps, Games, Updates and Search, with a new addition called Today. The Today tab is a new, daily updated section that will feature original stories and editorials such as exclusive premieres, new releases and a fresh look at all-time favorites, as well as tips and how-to guides to help users get started.

Apps and Games get their dedicated sections, featuring recommendations of new releases and updates, compelling videos, top charts and hand-picked collections across various categories. While the update tab requires no introduction, the Search has been enhanced to include the content found in Today, Games and Apps.

The app product page on the store is streamlined so as to spotlight the content that reflects the identity of the app. Accolades including Editors’ Choice and chart position will be highlighted alongside customer ratings, reviews and in-app purchases. Plus, the Big A is also making in-app purchases more discoverable on the store. The new iOS App Store will ship with iOS 11 this fall. Developers can get their hands on the all-new App Store in the developer preview of iOS 11, which is now available to developers enrolled in Apple Developer Program.
