Google Hangouts now supports iOS CallKit for incoming and outgoing calls

Google has updated Hangouts with Apple’s CallKit, a framework that allows VoIP apps to integrate with the native Phone UI, on iPhone.
After updating Google Hangouts to the latest iteration, version 16, you’ll be able to place calls using the stock iOS Phone app or with Siri voice commands, and also receive incoming calls using the former. You can configure the CallKit-backed feature through Settings > Answer on lock screen.
While support for CallKit is an addition, Hangouts app also fixes issues dealing with video calling, and photo zoom in preview mode.
