Is it still enough?

Apple is now offering one free month of premium iCloud storage. The month-long trial is available to the users on the 5GB tier plan only; existing users on the premium tier are not eligible for the trial.

First spotted by AppleInsider, the one-month free trial is applicable on all of the available plans —  50GB, 200GB, and 2TB. It appears when a user cannot back-up their iOS device due to lack of storage in the free tier.

“You do not have enough space in iCloud to back up your iPhone. A 50 GB plan gives you plenty of space to continue backing up your iPhone. Your first month is free and it’s just $0.99 each month after.”

When the trial is over, standard rates apply. It’s $2.99/mo for 200GB, and $9.99/mo for 2TB.
