Apple today revealed the air date for the upcoming version of iOS on its website. iOS 13 will be available to the public starting September 19, with additional features arriving through iOS 13.1 on September 30.

iOS 13 is the biggest software update for iPhone by far, according to Apple, and packs in many new features such as the much-awaited Dark Mode, improved Maps and Siri, and a lot more.

Apple previewed the software update back in June at WWDC 2019, and it has been testing the software through developer and public betas lately. iOS 13 is compatible with 7th-gen iPod touch, iPhone SE, and iPhone 6s devices or higher models.

In addition, watchOS 6 will be available to Apple Watch users on September 19 as well, while iPadOS drops on September 30.

While the stable software releases are scheduled for later this month, Apple will be issuing GMs to developers and public beta testers soon. You can download and install the updates from Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device when it’s available later this month.
