Tim Cook remembers Steve Jobs on eighth anniversary of his passing
Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011, eight years ago fighting pancreatic cancer at the age of 56.

Apple CEO Tim Cook marked the eight anniversary of the passing of Steve Jobs today with a tweet. As he does every year, Cook shared a post with a Jobs quote and a photo of him at the iconic cube at Apple Fifth Avenue in New York.

Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011, eight years ago fighting pancreatic cancer at the age of 56. It was a day after Apple introduced iPhone 4s to the world.
