Shazam gains Split View support on iPad, delete gesture
The music recognition app can now be used alongside other apps in the same frame.

Apple has updated Shazam with support for Split View on iPad. The music recognition app, which Apple acquired back in 2018, can now be used alongside other apps in the same frame.
The Shazam app update also brings gesture support to quickly remove songs from the Shazam list view in the Library. Full release notes are mentioned below, have a look.
We now support Split View on iPad! Next time you want to Shazam while watching a video on your iPad, just drag the Shazam app to the right or left edge of the screen to make a Split View.
One more thing…You can now quickly delete your Shazams by swiping left in the list view accessible from your Library.
Shazam is available for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac on the App Store. It’s also integrated with Siri, meaning you can directly ask Siri what song this is.
