Apple launches two new Pride Edition Sport Bands for Apple Watch
This year’s Pride Edition Sport Band is joined by a Nike Edition Sport Band.

Apple has announced this year’s Pride Edition Band for the Apple Watch, including a Sport Band and Nike Sport Band. Both Pride-themed bands come in 40mm and 44mm sizes, and are available to order today.
The 2020 Pride Edition Apple Watch bands can be paired with new matching watch faces that are included in watchOS 6.2.5. The new $49 Sport Band and Nike Sport Band are available from Apple.com and Apple Stores.

With the 2020 edition already available, Apple has discontinued last year’s Pride Edition Sport Loop Band. Apple has been supporting Pride through the Watch bands since 2016, but this is the first time Nike is joining in together for Pride month, which is observed every June.
Through this effort, Apple and Nike are proud to support LGBTQ organizations doing vital advocacy and community-building worldwide, including GLSEN, PFLAG, The Trevor Project, Gender Spectrum, The National Center for Transgender Equality, and ILGA World, which brings together more than 1,500 member organizations in more than 150 countries and regions.
Like every in-person activity around the world right now, Pride month is also effected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Normally, Pride is celebrated with parades, protests, advocacy, and festivals, but this year’s Pride celebration is virtual, as Pride gatherings in many places have been cancelled due to current health situation.
