OnePlus Buds will launch on July 21

OnePlus will be announcing its first-ever wireless earbuds on July 21 alongside the upcoming OnePlus Nord. The company shared some details about its wireless earbuds — the OnePlus Buds — in a forum post.

With a half-in-ear wearable design, the OnePlus Buds will deliver 7 hours of battery life on continuous use, and up to 30 hours of playback with the charging case. This does give the Buds a superiority over AirPods family in terms of battery life. The OnePlus Buds have an industry-leading battery life, claims OnePlus. 

The Buds weigh 4.6 grams and the charging case 36 grams, which is surprisingly light. OnePlus says the earbuds will achieve ultra-low latency nearing the speed of wired headphones. Pricing for the wireless earbuds hasn’t been revealed yet. It seems the company is saving the price tag to reveal alongside OnePlus Nord next week.
