Samsung announces the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in the US
An upgraded processor and 5G connectivity.

Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the hottest foldable smartphone with 5G (Sub-6 GHz) support. Just few weeks before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event, the phone has been released with an upgraded processor and connectivity enhancement.
The new Galaxy Flip operates on Android 10 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED Infinity Flex display screen with a 1,080 x 2,636 resolution. On cover display, it has a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 112 x 300 resolution. The phone is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 865+ oct-core processor, with a maximum clock speed of 3.09GHz, paired with an 8GB of RAM. It has got a 256GB of internal storage.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip packs a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support. It measures 73.6 x 167.3 x 7.2mm when unfolded and weighs 183 grams. The handset comes with Flex mode UI and a hinge that lets you keep the phone open at multiple angles.
There’s a dual rear-camera setup with 12-megapixel wide-angle and ultra-wide angle cameras. For the front camera, the Z Flip has a 10-megapixel unit for selfies. The Galaxy Z Flip will be available in Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze color variants. It is priced at $1,449.99 for 8GB RAM / 256GB storage, and will be available starting August 7.
