Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2020 scheduled for August 5
The new Galaxy Note 20 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip at Unpacked next month.

Samsung has sent out invites for its Unpacked 2020 launch event happening on August 5. The event will be held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will start at 10AM ET / 7:45PM NPT on Samsung’s website.
Although the invitation doesn’t reveal what Samsung plans to announce, new hardware products are widely expected at this time of the year. The new Galaxy Note 20 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip are likely to make an appearance at Unpacked 2020.
Samsung said it will be launching new foldable and Note models later in the year in its quarterly report. Details about the Galaxy Note 20 series are still unknown, but it’s likely to be named as Note 20 and Note 20 Plus or Note 20 Ultra. As for the specifications, a recent leak has revealed the phone’s color to be grey, copper and green for the Note 20 while the Note 20 Plus/Ultra will come in black, white or copper. Both devices are supposed to come with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Furthermore, Samsung could announce two new foldable phones, first being the next-generation Galaxy Fold and a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip. The original Galaxy Z Flip featured a Snapdragon 855+ processor and supported 4G networks. Reports suggest that the 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip will include a Snapdragon 865 processor.
