Apple Store online coming to India on September 23

Customers can now buy directly from Apple in India.

Apple is set to open its online store in India. It will provide customers with an option to purchase products directly from Apple.

Opening on Wednesday, September 23 next week, the Apple Store online will feature Apple Specialists, who speak both English and Hindi, to guide with ordering and setting up devices. It will also host free online Today at Apple sessions led by local creative proffesionals with a focus on photography and music, next month.

“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People. “We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best ofApple at this important time.”

Apple has marked its presence in the Indian market for a long time, but only through third-party resellers like Flipkart, Amazon, Croma. Now with the opening of the online store, Apple is introducing financing options and a trade-in program along with Education pricing provided specifically for students, which was not available through resellers previously.

In addition to the online store, Apple has already planned for a retail store in India next year. Customers in India will be able to shop directly from Apple.com beginning September 23.
