OnePlus 8T launch event scheduled for October 14
Witness the launch of the next OnePlus phone.
OnePlus confirmed the launch of its upcoming OnePlus 8T smartphone today. The company wrote in a forum post that the online launch event will take place on October 14 at 10AM ET / 7AM PT.
The blog post states that the OnePlus 8T will introduce some features that have never been on previous OnePlus devices. A glimpse of the 8T can be seen in the teaser OnePlus shared. The Chinese smartphone maker will also be hosting pop-up events for the OnePlus 8T worldwide, as noted by Android Authority. However, it has not confirmed any immediate plans just yet.
OnePlus also announced the reopening of “The Lab” program. The Lab will invite 10 candidates to review the OnePlus 8T and gift them the device. Application for The Lab is open until September 27, 11:59PM ET. No further details about the phone have been shared yet. Stay tuned.
