Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 750G 5G mobile platform
The chip can perform up to 4 trillion operations per second.

Qualcomm today announced the 5G-capable Snapdragon 750G Mobile Platform. The semiconductor company also mentioned that there are more than 275 designs announced or in development based on the Snapdragon 7-series mobile platforms, including 140 5G designs.
The new Snapdragon 750G features X52 5G Modem-RF System, which supports multi-gigabit connections with faster uploads and downloads, meaning both mmWave and Sub-6 GHz bands are supported. The Snapdragon 750G sports Qualcomm Adreno 619 GPU that enables 10 percent better quality graphics when compared to the 730G. With the 5th generation Qualcomm AI Engine on board, the 5G chip can perform up to 4.0 trillion operations per second. The AI system can also cancel echo and suspend background noise for improved video chat gaming experiences. The included Snapdragon Elite Gaming allows for a low-latency gameplay, too.
Besides these features, the 750G chip comes with support for WiFi 6, dual-frequency GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology, as reported by Engadget, which can charge the device to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. Mobile devices housing this chipset will be available by the end of 2020.
