Samsung launches its most affordable 5G phone and Trio wireless charger
There’s also a new tablet, the Galaxy Tab A7.

Samsung announced the Galaxy A42 5G, its most affordable 5G phone yet. The South Korean electronics giant also unveiled the Galaxy Tab A7 and Wireless Charger Trio alongside the A42 5G at its Live Unstopable virtual event.
The Galaxy A42 5G sports a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen accompanying a notch design for selfie camera. According to Samsung Germany, It will feature a 5,000mAh battery and quad-camera setup. Cameras include a 48-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, 5-megapixel macro and depth sensors. The A42 5G will have a 20-megapixel camera on the front.

The Galaxy Tab A7 spans 10.4 inches with 80 percent screen-to-body ratio cased in a symmetrical bezel. It has 4 Dolby Atmos speakers and a long lasting battery, which makes it a perfect entertainment companion on-the-go, Samsung touts.

The Wireless Charger Trio is a charging station that can charge up to three compatible devices wirelessly at once. It’s a successor to the Wireless Charger Duo which can charge two devices at once.
Samsung Galaxy A42 will have three color options including Dark Grey, Silver and Gold, and the Galaxy Tab A7 will be available in Black, White and Gray. The WiFi variant of the Tab A7 will cost 223 EUR (~$264) and the LTE version will cost 282 EUR (~$334) when it launches in September. The A42 5G will be available beginning November for 369 EUR (~$437) through Samsung online store and retail stores in Germany.
