Samsung launches the Galaxy M51 in India
It has a massive 7,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
Samsung today announced its latest Galaxy M series smartphone, the Galaxy M51 in India. The Galaxy M51 is the first Samsung smartphone with a 7,000mAh battery capacity that is launching in India. It will be available for sale beginning September 18.
The Galaxy M51 comes with a 6.7-inch sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O display. It houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor inside and quad-camera setup on the outside. The main camera has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX 682 sensor. Other cameras include 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 5-megapixel macro and 5-megapixel depth. The handset supports 4K recording from both rear and front cameras; the front shooter is a 34-megapixel unit.
The M51 comes with a Type-C 25W superfast charger which can fuel up the massive 7,000mAh battery within 2 hours of charge. It will be available in two different memory variants and colors. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage will cost 24,999 INR (~$340) and 26,999 INR (~$381), respectively. The color options include Celestial Black and Electric Blue, with availability on September 18 through Amazon.in, Samsung.com, and select Samsung retail stores in India.
