Google Calendar now lets you create and view tasks on mobile
The feature was previously available on Google Calendar for web only.

A new G Suite update has made it possible to create and view tasks in Google Calendar on mobile devices. The feature was previously available on the web version of Google Calendar only.
Now users can directly add new tasks to calendar and view them on their smartphone and tablet devices. The tasks added in the Google Calendar will be automatically synced across desktop and mobile. Users can tap on the “+” button at the bottom right corner in the app. After that they can select “Task” from the menu to add a task. It will appear in the calendar instantly.

The update is now rolling out on Android and iOS devices, and can take up to two weeks to reach all users. It is available to all G Suite customers and users with personal Google account.
