Samsung launches Galaxy S21 models starting at $799

Samsung launched its Galaxy S21 smartphone series at Galaxy Unpacked event on 14th January. Alongside the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra, the company also unveiled Galaxy Buds Pro earphones and Galaxy SmartTag item trackers.

Samsung Galaxy S21 is surmounted with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The device runs One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 and is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 2100 processor that features 3 cores clocked at 2.8GHz. The phone is packed with Gorilla glass on the front and plastic back with an aluminum frame.
As for the camera, the rear packs a 12-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a second 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a third 64-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture with autofocus setup. The front camera will consist of a 10-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
It comes with 128GB 8GB RAM and 256GB 8GB RAM with no external card slot. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is powered by a 4000mAh battery and supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.
It features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection. The phone includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor with support for face unlock.
The device comes in Phantom Gray, Phantom White, Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink color options.

The Samsung S21 Plus comes with Gorilla glass on both sides, unlike the S21. The only difference between S21 Plus and S21 is with the body. The phone features the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X, with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution as of Galaxy S21, and is made available with 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM.
The S21 Plus comes in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gold, Phantom Red color options.

Tech enthusiasts wanting the most from their Galaxy device can opt for the S21 Ultra. The S21 Ultra brings the popular S Pen experience to the Galaxy S series for the first time.
The device comes with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. It offers 128GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM storage.
The S21 Ultra features a quad rear camera system with ultra-wide, wide, and dual tele-lenses, 100x Space Zoom, improved Night Mode, and an upgraded 108MP pro sensor that can capture 12-bit HDR photos. The front camera comes with 40 MP, f/2.2 supporting Dual video call, Auto-HDR, and 4K video.
The S21 Ultra comes in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy, Phantom Brown color options.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra starts at $1,199.99, Galaxy S21 at $799.99 and Galaxy S21+ is priced at $999.99. The smartphones are set to arrive to the customers on January 29.
